Apple TV 4 was announced today by Apple with a major upgrade on the hardware, the Cupertino own users by giving them the opportunity to buy a product with much improved over previous models.

Specifically, Apple sells Apple TV 4 with a chip A8 similar to that offered in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, but it comes with a serious difference in terms of RAM, Apple TV 4 with 2 GB RAM compared to only 1GB RAM as they iPhones.

The amount of RAM higher is required for the Apple TV will be displayed in certain situations images at resolutions much higher than those of screens terminals iPhone, so Apple thought improvements for the future and not just for an upgrade will take place year future.

Apart from this improvement, Apple restricts developers to create applications for only 200 MB to Apple TV 4 so that those games 2GB of App Store will soon be just a memory thanks to Cupertino.

  • 64-bit A8 processor
  • 32GB or 64GB of storage
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 10 / 100Mbps Ethernet
  • WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
  • 1080p Resolution
  • HDMI
  • New Siri Remote / Apple TV Remote
By reducing the size of applications, developers in the Apple servers will load content that is not part of the main application, which is downloaded by users as they move just a game or use certain new functions of an application.

Change is extremely good because at present many users download large applications that have not fully utilized and have always occupied space in terminals.
